European Influence
Yellowstone Club, MT

When designing this new 6,600 square foot residence in a spectacular Big Sky, MT, setting we complemented the natural grandeur of the stone and timber architecture and imbued the home with the beautiful patina of lived-in familiarity. Custom furnishings and one-of-a-kind art brought to life our client’s vision for this profoundly personal space.

Our challenge for this newly constructed home was to design interiors that imparted a deeply felt sense of history and place … a home our clients felt they had lived in forever.

The natural world and the Montana landscape are very much alive in this home, from the living room’s faux bois firewood bin and Van der Straeten handwrought bronze tumbleweed mirror over the fireplace, to the porcupine-quill box from Ceylon outside the master suite.

We curated and sourced an eclectic collection of one-of-a-kind antique pieces and furnishings from all over the world, rich with story and history yet never contrived.
